About the Journal

Ashlach: Journal of Islamic Education (p-ISSN: 2988-1277 | e-ISSN: 2988-1285) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Pasuruan, Indonesia, issued twice a year in April and October, and has been available online since April 2023.

This journal is intended as a platform for critical and open scholarly discourse among academics, religious figures, intellectuals, and students in examining and advancing Islamic education rooted in the traditions of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Ashlach specifically focuses on curriculum development based on Aswaja An-Nahdliyah values, innovation in Islamic education in the digital era within the framework of NU tradition, analysis of contemporary issues in NU-based Islamic education development, and strategies for enhancing teacher competence within NU institutional settings. Through this scope, Ashlach is committed to becoming a relevant and contributive scientific reference for the advancement of Islamic education that is moderate, adaptive, and of Nahdliyah character.
