CEJou provides immediate open access to its published articles, making scholarly content freely available to readers worldwide without subscription fees or institutional access restrictions.

Open Access Principle

All published articles are freely accessible to read, download, and share, subject to the applicable Creative Commons license and proper acknowledgment of the original authors and source.

2. Free and Immediate Access

CEJou provides access to published scholarly content under the following principles:

  • No subscription fee is required to read published articles.
  • No payment is required to download publicly available article files.
  • Readers are not required to register or log in to access published content.
  • Articles are made available through the journal website after formal publication.
  • Published articles may be accessed by researchers, educators, students, practitioners, and the general public.

Registration within the OJS platform may be required for manuscript submission, editorial activities, and reviewer participation, but not for reading open-access publications.

3. Creative Commons License

Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0)

The journal's stated licensing framework permits sharing and adaptation of published material in accordance with the terms of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Read the CC BY-SA 4.0 License

Under this license, users are permitted to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.
  • Use for educational and research purposes: Incorporate appropriately attributed material into teaching, research, and scholarly communication.
  • Use commercially: Reuse content for commercial purposes, subject to the license conditions.

These permissions are subject to appropriate attribution, identification of changes, and distribution of adapted material under the same or a compatible license, as required by CC BY-SA 4.0.

4. Attribution and Reuse Requirements

Users who reproduce, distribute, or adapt CEJou publications must comply with the license associated with the relevant article.

  • Give appropriate credit to the original author or authors.
  • Identify the title and original publication source.
  • Provide the article DOI or permanent URL where available.
  • Provide a link to the applicable Creative Commons license.
  • Indicate whether changes have been made to the original work.
  • Apply the required ShareAlike conditions when distributing adaptations.
  • Respect separately credited third-party material that may be subject to different rights.

No additional legal or technological restrictions may be imposed that prevent others from exercising the permissions granted by the applicable Creative Commons license.

5. Copyright and Author Rights

Copyright ownership and publication rights are governed by the copyright notice, author agreement, and license applicable to each article. CEJou recognizes the importance of transparent author rights, accurate attribution, and lawful reuse of scholarly materials.

Authors and readers should consult the copyright and licensing information displayed on the relevant article landing page. Any institutional copyright arrangements must be clearly communicated and must not contradict the reuse permissions granted under the article's published license.

6. Access to Published Articles and Archives

Published articles are made accessible through the official CEJou website and organized by volume, issue number, and publication year. Each available article record provides bibliographic information to support identification and citation.

Where assigned, Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) provide persistent identification of scholarly publications. CEJou aims to maintain access to published content and accurate bibliographic metadata.

7. Author Self-Archiving and Repositories

Authors may share and deposit published articles in institutional repositories, personal academic websites, and other scholarly repositories in accordance with the license attached to the published version.

When sharing an article, authors are encouraged to include complete bibliographic information and a DOI link to the version of record on the CEJou website. Other manuscript versions may be subject to separate agreements or applicable repository policies.

8. Reader Access and Article Processing Charges

Open access for readers is distinct from publication charges that may apply to authors. Reading and downloading published articles do not require payment.

Any submission, review, publication, or other author-facing fees must be stated transparently in the journal's separate Article Processing Charge (APC) policy. Charges, if applicable, do not determine editorial acceptance or peer-review outcomes.

9. Research Integrity and Access Restrictions

The open-access policy does not override legitimate requirements concerning research participant confidentiality, personal data protection, third-party intellectual property rights, or publication ethics.

Where a published article requires correction, retraction, or an expression of concern, CEJou will handle the publication record in accordance with its Correction and Retraction Policy. Public notices should remain accessible whenever legally and ethically permissible.
