Correction and Retraction

Corrections

CEJou may publish a correction when a published article contains an error that should be amended without invalidating the overall findings. The correction should describe the change and link to the original record.

Retractions

Retraction may be considered when findings are unreliable, when publication is redundant without proper disclosure, or where plagiarism or unethical research is established. Decisions should follow the journal policy and relevant COPE guidance.

Expressions of Concern

An expression of concern may be considered when substantial concerns remain unresolved and the available evidence does not yet justify a final correction or retraction decision.

Transparency

A formal notice should identify the article, reason for the action, date and responsible editorial authority. The original article and notice should be visibly cross-linked rather than silently erased.
