Artificial Intelligence Policy

Authors and AI-assisted Tools

Authors may use AI-assisted tools only with appropriate human oversight and must verify the factual accuracy, originality, references, privacy and integrity of all submitted material. AI cannot be designated as an author.

Transparent Disclosure

Authors should disclose material use of generative AI in preparing text, code, images or analytical content, identifying the tool and purpose where relevant. Routine spelling or grammar correction may be treated differently according to editorial guidance.

Editors and Reviewers

Editors and reviewers must maintain manuscript confidentiality. Unpublished manuscripts, peer-review reports and confidential editorial materials must not be uploaded to external AI systems without proper authorization and adequate confidentiality safeguards.

Responsibility and Misuse

Authors, reviewers and editors remain personally responsible for their judgments and contributions. Fabricated citations, invented data, undisclosed AI-generated results or deceptive representations are unacceptable.

Article-Level Statement

Published articles should include an accurate AI use declaration where the journal requires it, including a statement of no material AI use only when confirmed by the authors.
