Authorship should be based on substantial scholarly contributions to the conception or design of the work; acquisition, analysis or interpretation of data; drafting or critical revision; approval of the version to be published; and accountability for the work. All listed authors should be able to explain and take responsibility for their own contributions.
Authors must agree on the author list and order before submission, disclose relevant conflicts of interest and funding, supply accurate affiliations and ORCID identifiers where available, and obtain permission to acknowledge contributors who do not qualify as authors.
Requests to add, remove or reorder authors after submission must be accompanied by an explanation and written agreement of all affected authors. The editorial team will assess such requests before approval.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain responsible for originality, accuracy, citations and any AI-assisted material, and should disclose substantive AI use in accordance with the journal AI policy.
